
Missouri (4-1, 1-0 SEC) trailed 17-14 at halftime after Arkansas (3-2, 1-1 SEC) scored a touchdown on a 1-yard run by Raheim Sanders with just 13 seconds remaining in the second quarter.
The Tigers tied the game early in the third quarter on a 2-yard run by Cook. However, Arkansas regained the lead later in the period on a 25-yard field goal by Cam Little.
Missouri answered with a 47-yard field goal by Harrison Mevis early in the fourth quarter to close the deficit to 24-21. After Arkansas forced a three-and-out, the Tigers’ defense held and forced a punt.
Cook then led an 8-play, 65-yard drive that ended with his game-winning touchdown run.
Missouri will travel to Auburn next Saturday for another SEC matchup. Arkansas will host No. 2 Alabama next Saturday in Fayetteville.
