Roster Moves in Dallas

The Dallas Cowboys have made several roster moves ahead of their Week 18 matchup against the Washington Commanders, moving wide receiver CeeDee Lamb and defensive end Sam Williams to the inactive list and activating three players in their place.

Lamb, Williams Out

Lamb, who has been dealing with a foot injury, has been ruled out for the season finale. Williams has also been dealing with an injury, although it is not known at this time what that is.

Replacements Added

To replace Lamb and Williams, the Cowboys have activated wide receiver Simi Fehoko, defensive end Tarell Basham, and cornerback Trayvon Mullen.

Fehoko has been a mainstay on the Cowboys’ practice squad this season and has appeared in one game, catching one pass for 12 yards. Basham has played in nine games this season, recording one sack and three tackles for loss. Mullen has played in 14 games this season, recording two interceptions and five passes defended.

Impact on Season Finale

The absence of Lamb and Williams is a major blow to the Cowboys’ offense and defense. Lamb is the team’s leading receiver this season with 1,135 yards and seven touchdowns, while Williams is the team’s third-leading sacker with six.

The Cowboys will need to find ways to replace their production in order to have success against the Commanders.
