Is Utah Hockey Club Back On Track After 6

“We’ve had some tough times, but we’ve worked hard and stayed positive,” said head coach Cameron Lowe. “Now we’re starting to see the results of that hard work.”

The UHC’s resurgence began with a 4-1 victory over the Idaho Steelheads last Friday. The team followed up with a 5-2 triumph over the Colorado Eagles on Saturday and a 3-2 overtime victory over the Tucson Roadrunners on Sunday.

“We’ve been playing as a unit, and everyone is contributing,” said captain Jake Chelios. “We’re not going to let a few losses derail us.”

The UHC’s recent success has been fueled by strong goaltending from Ty Rimmer and a balanced scoring attack led by Cody Bradley and Riley Tufte.

“Our goaltending has been phenomenal, and our offense has been clicking,” said Lowe. “We’re starting to gel as a team, and I’m confident we can make a run at the playoffs.”

The UHC currently sits in seventh place in the AHL’s Western Conference, just four points out of a playoff spot. The team has 16 games remaining in the regular season.

“We know we have a tough road ahead of us, but we’re not going to give up,” said Chelios. “We’re going to fight for every point and make sure we qualify for the playoffs.”
